Tiny Houses

«If there is a will, there is a way!» This once-miserable kitchen makeover is blowing up online

I took a risk and transformed my tiny, outdated kitchen 😮 No one believed I could pull it off—but the moment I revealed the final result, they were speechless. Take a look at the unbelievable before-and-after transformation 👇

Here’s the truth—this story is about turning a cramped, lifeless kitchen into something that actually shocks people. And no, I didn’t have money to burn or some big renovation crew. I made small, smart changes and forced the space to look newer and sharper without touching anything major.

Let’s be real—those upper cabinets were awkwardly installed at an angle, and keeping them would’ve dragged the whole space down, so I ditched them. There was one annoying problem though: the top row was missing some tiles. Instead of wasting time fixing it, I worked around it—the gap was completely hidden behind the refrigerator anyway.

I came up with a slightly insane plan—carefully pry off the tiles hidden behind the fridge and reuse them. Somehow, my very patient dad agreed. We ended up removing more tiles than we actually needed, and while cleaning off the old adhesive in water, I managed to ruin one tile in the process.

Nothing fancy here—we leveled the walls with regular Volma, then went over it with a finishing layer. After that, I just painted everything white. The radiator got a quick upgrade with KUDO black gloss spray paint. As for the rest, I tried a mix of different brands to see what actually worked best.

In the end, KUDO ended up being the only brand worth sticking with. And here’s the part most people won’t agree with—I genuinely don’t care about tiny imperfections. Slightly uneven walls? Irrelevant. What actually matters is that the space has character and feels alive.
